EPITA tetrapeptide researched for telomere elongation, anti-aging effects, and regulation of the pineal gland.
Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) developed by the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. It is the synthetic analog of the polypeptide Epithalamin naturally produced in the pineal gland. Research demonstrates its ability to activate telomerase, elongate telomeres, restore circadian rhythms, and exhibit antioxidant and tumor-inhibiting effects in animal models.
